LOOKING FOR THE BEST JOB EVER THIS SUMMER??

We’re looking for a few new instructors for Summer of 2025 and felt it would be best to reach out to our families first! A majority of our instructors come from previous campers or families that have attended our camp and we find that to be very special!

We view our camp employees as family and we are all very close. I believe this caters to our all inclusive atmosphere of GOOD VIBES.

Job Application Process

  1. Fill out Application and submit to [email protected]

  2. Camp Director will reach out to schedule an in person interview and send Availability Sheet.

  3. Fill out Availability Sheet and bring to in person Interview with Camp Director.

  4. Camp Director will follow up to confirm if you got the job and will schedule your training days.

Positions for Hire

  • Surf Instructor: Able to take 2 kids out in the surf and safely push them into waves. Experience Required

  • Micro Grom Instructor: Must be 18 years or older and have experience working with kids. These instructors work Thursdays and Fridays.

  • Art Instructor: Able to assist kids in a beginner painting lesson. Walk them through proper paint brush care and suggestions to improve their artwork.

  • Music Instructor: Able to tune a ukulele (with tuner) and assist in a beginner ukulele lesson going over ukulele anatomy.

  • Junior Instructor: Must be atleast 12 years old with 1 year of surf camp experience. This is a volunteer position.

Did you know about our Junior Instructor Program?

Our Junior Instructor Program is designed to take in aspiring young instructors a year or two before they are eligible to be a paid instructor, to adequately train them in the field through volunteer work.
This position is for 12 & 13 year olds who have at least 1 year of surf camp experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet at the shop at 8:30AM

  • Follow direction from your head instructors

  • Being a “Catcher”

    • Standing on the inside of the waves ready to grab campers as they wipe out in the shore pound in order to protect them from their boards and get them back out to their instructors.

  • Art and Music Lesson Assistance

    • Handing out supplies for Head Instructor and assisting kids in their projects

  • Transitional Assistance

    • Taking campers who are done with beach activities out to their surf group

    • Taking campers who are done with surfing back up to the tent for snack, art or music.

  • Capture the flop participation

    • Being a team leader for a capture the flop team where you will assist the campers play the game and help resolve any issues on the field as they come.

Did you know we host a Spring Break Camp every year?

This is a 4 day camp that is ran in the same format of our summer camp with the option to partake in Art and Music, or just surf all week! We host 12 kids in this camp, but there are only 9 spaces left.
