Week 10 WAS AWESOME ‼️ 

Week 10 was basically the last week of camp because most kiddos went back to school this week! We hope that everyones transition back to the school routine has gone smoothly, we know how stressful these transitions can be at time!

We miss our kiddos and are currently looking back at this summer with SO MUCH GRATITUDE! This may have been the BEST summer EVER!

Week 10 had the biggest waves of the summer and our little shredders were READY! We saw some of our regular campers paddling into over head waves on their own this week and I will tell you we were SO DANG PROUD. 

Not only was the outside completely FIRING for the kids, the shore pound was also very legit for boogie boarding and gave our slow to warm students the opportunity to ride some stronger waves. That’s how you build confidence right there, and most of our students on the outside last week all started on a boogie board on the inside as well! Its a process that requires patience, consistency and fun.

Thank you all for the continued support. We are SO LUCKY to call this community home and look forward to serving you all for MANY years to come!

Week 11 is our “Bonus Week” and only has 6 kids in it. What a crazy change for us, but we are grateful to have one last little hoorah with our homeschoolers and private schoolers.

Some Special Moments From Week 10:

“COACH ALEC, ITS PUMPING!!”

Week 10 had conditions that some of our students may have never experienced before. It was solid chest high on me, therefore head high plus for the kids. Thankfully the waves were actually pretty soft given their size which was the perfect recipe for these students to get some experience paddling out and into some bigger surf.

This week so many of our students just couldn’t believe the conditions and a few even said they felt like they were on a surf trip! Unfortunately, the photographer comes on Thursdays each week and the waves drastically dropped in size for the last day, so we don’t have any picture proof of the level of charging that went down. HOWEVER, those images live rent free in my mind 🤩 

Our Creative Bunch!

Every week the creativity flows in different directions. Sometimes it’s mostly in art group, other times its in music, or sometimes ALL surfing.

This week we had a handful of students who really put their focus to being creative in the art group and its ALWAYS so cool for us to see.

Expressing yourself through creativity is SO IMPORTANT and we are lucky to help assist these students in their creative journey.
