Well good news, we offer fall surf programs for the kiddos to keep the stoke ALIVE!

This season we will have 2 Fall Surf Programs: Homeschool Camp and After School Program. After school Program runs Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4-6pm while the Home School Surf Camp will run Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30am-2:30pm.

These programs are designed to keep the kiddos in the water as much as possible before the waves get too big and the water gets too cold!!

Homeschool Surf Camp

The same great Surf Art Music Summer camp experience but for homeschoolers!

(PEP Scholarship Qualified Invoicing Available)

This 2-Day surf camp is designed to enrich homeschoolers curriculum with P.E. (Surfing), Art, and Music while getting them outside and in the sun being active.

This camp will have a 1 to 2 instructor to camper ratio with a max attendance of 8 kids per week.

Running Tuesdays and Thursday 8:30am-2:30pm.

Kiddos are required to PACK THEIR OWN LUNCH each day.

Once upon a time back when the pandemic first hit and a TON of kiddos transitioned to homeschooling overnight, we offered a homeschool surf camp. We had about 8 kids per week and it was GREAT while it lasted. Once the mask mandate lifted and the strange impacts of social distancing dissipated we no longer had a big enough group to continue this program.

BUT NOW we have a PLETHORA of homeschool kiddos who are looking for additional enrichment activities to partake in during the school year and what better way than with our Surf Play Create Model!

The Home School Surf Camp is designed to ENRICH our homeschoolers education with Art, Music, & Surfing. We will be offering a DEEPER curriculum for these kiddos where we will dive deeper into our subjects such as; Color Theory, Color and Emotions, Art History, Music History, Rhythm , Percussion, Instruments in a band, Surfing etiquette, Surfing history, How boards are built, Board Design, Tides and Moon Cycles, Swell Events, Currents, Wave Types, and much more!

There will only be 8 spots available per week in this camp, so there is a possibility that we sell out rather quickly!

We are not allowing daily drop ins for this group and all purchases are final. The only way we will be able to refund any dates purchased is if you find a replacement for your kiddos day. Once that replacement pays then we can refund you.

Home School Camp Daily Schedule

• 8:30-9:00: Drop off and Introduction

  • Role call, schedule, rules, conditions

• 9:00-9:30: Walk down stretch as a group

• 9:30-10:30: 1^st activity

• 10:30-11:00: Snack Time

• 11:00-12:00: 2^nd Activity

• 12:00-12:45: Lunch time

• 12:45-1:30: 1^st activity

• 1:30-2:15: 2^nd activity

• 2:15-2:30: Pack up and walk up

After School Program (ASP)

The After School Program has been alive for almost 8 years! I actually started this service before the summer camp believe it or not.

This program is designed to surf be “Surf Practice” for the local kids who have more interest in surfing than other sports.

This program will run August 25th - November 26th. Then we will start back up after spring break in April. (Spring start date TBD)

Paddle In & Push In Groups

The Push In Group: This group is ran just like summer camp, where an instructor will be assigned two kiddos for the session and will take them out and push them into waves safely.

• 4 kids per class

• 1 to 2 instructor to camper ratio

• Do NOT have to bring their own board

• Ages 7+

The Paddle In Group: This group focuses on water independence through verbal coaching. These kiddos are required to know how to paddle out and catch waves on their own in reasonable surf. If you don’t know what group your kiddo would be in, we typically schedule an onboarding lesson to evaluate where they currently are in their surf journey!

• 10 kids per class

• Required to bring their own board

• Be able to paddle out and catch waves on their own

• 1 to 5 instructor to camper ratio

• Ages 9+

These sessions are paid for by purchasing bundles, which makes the sessions $5 cheaper or per session. The pricing is on the website for both programs!

These “credits” or Sessions are only good for the after school program. We will no longer be converting ASP credits into private lessons or summer camp!

We have a group chat for this program that I will send a conditions message in every day to let you all know if we are ON or OFF. I will also briefly mention the conditions and what boards would be best to ride that day or if I believe its too big for some of our crew.
