WSMS CAMP Week 10

Surf Gallery & Stories

Howdy surf camp families,

Just like that, summer has come and gone!! It’s always so sad for us when summer comes to an end because we literally have the BEST TIME EVER with our happy campers.

We ended the 2026 surf camp season with a BANG! We had 45 kiddos at camp last week and 6+ kiddos who upgraded to being Junior instructors. WOW!

We want to say THANK YOU to all of our surf camp families for the continual support of our special program. We wouldn’t be here without you guys, so thank you SO MUCH!

With that being said, here is our FINAL surf gallery of the summer. Week 10!

(We didn’t realize this, but our print options on the gallery weren’t in operation all summer…OOPS! We got that fixed though so you can go back and order prints, metal canvases, wrapped canvases of all the special moments from this summer!)

Time to transition into our Fall Surf Programs!!

Afterschool Program and Homeschool Program!

We will be announcing our dates here shortly. We had such a busy summer this season that it pushed us a back a little on preparing!

ALSO! We will be doing a used board sale next weekend in which we will include in our fall program dates Newsletter.

We hope you all have a great start to your school year!!

Great Waves for the Last Week!!

The ocean blessed us with REALLY fun surf for our last week of camp, and we felt SO LUCKY for that. All of our students were riding high on stoke and catching a TON of waves. Here are some of those rides found in the Week 10 gallery:

Fall Surf Programs

During the fall we offer two different surf programs: Afterschool surf program and Homeschool surf program. We will be starting these programs up at the end of the month in which we will announce those dates within the next day or so!

Until then here is a brief overview of these programs:

Afterschool Surf Program: This program runs three days a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00pm-6:00pm. We have 2 groups for this program: The paddle in and The push in.

Paddle in kids are required to bring their own surfboard and be able to paddle out and catch a wave on their own in moderate surf conditions. This group is a 1to5 ratio of instructor to students and is designed to be verbal coaching.

The Push in group will use our supplied soft tops and will be pushed into waves similar to our summer camp. This group is a 1to2 ratio just like our summer camp.

The Homeschool Surf Program: This program runs two days a week. Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am-1:30pm. Students are required to pack their own lunch for the day. We run this program as a condensed version of our Surf Art Music summer camp model where kiddos will make do art projects, learn the ukelele, surf, and swim each week!

This program is an approved provider for the PEP scholarship, meaning you are able to pay for the program through the step up for students’ portal!

Dates are still TBD for both of these programs!!

Please Consider Leaving us a Google Review

We didn’t want to accept this at first, but google reviews have SUCH A HUGE impact on new families discovering our special little camp. It would mean the world to us if you could take a few minutes out of your day to leave us a review on google if your kiddos enjoyed their time! We LOVE reading about each kiddos experience at The WSMS Surf Art Camp!

We Can’t Wait to See You All Again Soon!!!
